WAITAKI & OAMARU VISITOR CENTRE RE-OPENED

Visitors to the Waitaki district will no longer have to search high and low for information on the area. A new Waitaki and Oamaru visitor centre, incorporating the displays of the Waitaki Whitestone Geopark pop-up shop, opened in the former iSite building in Thames St.

Pop in to find out more about the Geopark and the stories of our land and people. The visitor centre is open Thursday - Monday 10am - 4pm (7 days during school holidays).
