Our Geo-roadshow continues next week in Twizel, Omarama and Kurow! Come along and find out everything you ever wanted to know about the Waitaki Whitestone Geopark and our proposed bid for UNESCO accreditation. This is also your chance to share your thoughts with us! We want to hear your ideas on how the Geopark can benefit your community. Waitaki District Council communications manager Lisa Scott and resident geologist Sophie Briggs will be present to answer all of your questions. See you there!

Sounds like a great opportunity to learn more and get involved—community input is so important for projects like this. Hope you get a strong turnout in each location. After reading event updates like this, I sometimes take a quick break with SoFlo Wheelie Life, a simple bike wheelie game that’s easy to jump into for a few minutes

This Geo-roadshow sounds kinda interesting. Wonder if they mentioned anything about the Plants vs Brainrots online game... maybe I'll check their newsletter during my coffee break.

"What a fantastic window into the past. Today we saw fossil bones in limestone at two different sites. One set were whale bones. Just awesome that this trail has been put together, maintained and promoted."
