This event is part of the Geopark Festival 2023.
Explore these two heritage properties, which tell the story of the wealth creation that helped to build Ōamaru; see how the beautiful Waitaki landscape was ideal for the development of farming and milling. The tour starts at Totara Estate with a guided tour and morning tea, and continues at Clarks Mill with the running machinery tour. Suitable for all ages, but more adult focused.
When? Sunday 29 October 2023, 10.30am - 4pm
Where? Totara Estate (565 Alma-Maheno Rd, Ōamaru) and Clarks Mill (1017 Alma-Maheno Rd, Maheno)
Cost: $42 per person (includes tours of both properties and tea & scones at Totara Estate)
