Our family history of farming & quarrying in North Otago spans six generations. ÅŒamaru stone, Parkside Quarry, Parkside Limeworks and Parkside Farm are the result of their hard work & vision. ÅŒamaru stone architectural limestone is responsibly sourced from high quality abundanlty occurring natural limestone deposits in our family owned quarry. Our ÅŒamaru Limestone has quality, purty and versatility from cladding and walls, to bespoke interior decor, landscraping products sculpture & artwork. Unique designs custom limestone work can be custom cut carved shaped engraved and drill to create bespoke designs. Our 5-axis CNC machine (ZEDA) is the largest stone fabricating tool in New Zealand. It is incredibly precise even for the most complex design details. The Tour is a special experience and in the huge quarry pits you get a sense of drama from being surrounded by Limestone. Suitable for school age + yrs.
