The Network Waitaki Victorian Fete was a day jammed packed with non-stop entertainment. A day of fun for the whole family, with incredible Victorian costumes, street performers, magicians and stilt walkers, around every corner, ensuring the day was one to remember.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Vanished World and Whitestone Geopark site. The kids (and grown-ups alike) had a great time digging for fossils in the limestone block and learned more about the geology of our area. The Moa bones and rattling rocks were a hit as were other fascinating local treasures from the Vanished World Centre.

"What a fantastic window into the past. Today we saw fossil bones in limestone at two different sites. One set were whale bones. Just awesome that this trail has been put together, maintained and promoted."
